Born in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa. Raised in English at an international school from kindergarten through high school. I like taking pictures, riding trains, and tinkering with handhelds when the crawlers can wait.
I started programming at 12 with Visual Basic 6.0 and eMbedded Visual Basic 3.0, then wrote Mohawk Search Engine in Perl and posted it to Planet Source Code. In 2004 I began Ppctweakies. I reported for IDG Japan’s DigitalworldTokyo in 2005, built search at IT DeSign, localized Kdan Mobile from English to Japanese, and in 2013 studied applied cyber security on campus at MIT. In 2020 I incorporated Inspire Search Corporation. In 2024 I co-founded Curioforce in Tokyo with my partner.
